When can they tell time?

Andrew needs a clock in his room... and a little lesson on what "weekend" means. This weekend we were visiting friends in Reno. The first night there - he woke up at 5:30 - ouch!! We took him back to bed with us, but he did not fall asleep. The second morning he woke up at 6:30 - MUCH better.

This morning - Monday morning - he woke up at 6:30, I brought him to our bed the same way we did the two weekend morning - and he fell back asleep until 7:30!!!! Meanwhile, I had to sneak out of bed at 7 to get ready. UHG! Why can't he sleep in on the weekends!!

I like the new blog look! And you don't get up until 7? I'm jealous!

Caroline is the same way. She WAS up consistently at 7, now it's moved to 6:30. UGH. At least we can get her to crawl in bed with us and watch a little TV. She doesn't start to get restless until 8 that way.

I want to say Leslie was 2 when we taught her to stay in bed till at least 7. (And I don't think she was too far past 2, either.) She learned what the number looked like and where it should be on her clock before she got up. One of the best things I ever did!
